What Women's Day?
Thank you to all who wished me Happy Women's Day. I am touched by your kind messages but I would also like to say something.
Dear women of the world, every day is YOUR day! There is no need for a specific date on the calendar to state that it is women's day for you to celebrate your existence! Every woman in this world is special and unique in her own ways.
The day you stand up for yourself and become self-empowered is the day you celebrate YOUR day. The day you value yourself without the need to mould yourself to reflect other people's ideas of you is the day you truly celebrate women's day! The day you listen to your heart instead of caring too much about the opinions of others is the very day you celebrate yourself!
Why celebrate ONE DAY out of the 365 days when you can celebrate YOU throughout your entire lifetime? I love and respect all of you who try to make a difference in not only yours, but other people's lives as well. Stay strong, stay motivated and more importantly, JUST BE YOURSELF! Never be afraid to be who you are because you are unique!
Also, the world is vast. Always remember that you are not alone. Your fellow sisters are out there in the event you need encouragement. They can be your momentary pillar of support. However, remember the true support comes from within.
