Aeons of Union and Separation
Where there is birth, there is bound to be death. Where there is union, there will be separation. This is how the Law of duality, governed by Maya, operates. Where there is no birth, there is no death. Where there is no union, there is no separation. There is only One.
Separation in the physical form is but temporary. Though the separation in the physical form in this life may be temporary, the mind and heart, overcome by Maya, will pine for 'nearness' once again to satisfy the cravings of the five senses.
O Mind, are you not tired? Does this drama not repeat itself every single lifetime?
Nothing experienced is ever permanent. Life is ever-flowing. There only IS. The different names and forms that we take will only be but temporary and fleeting. Why do you still, O Mind, hither and thither around this time of the year?
O Mind, always remember. The end of this chapter is nearing. The curtain is about to be drawn to end this short part of a very long show, and when the time is ripe, will once again be opened to begin a new chapter.
The end is never really an 'end'. It will always only be the beginning of a new chapter of something else. So be silent, O Mind, and wait patiently for the story to unfold.
