Bhagavad Gita: Rise Up To Temptations
The Bhagavad Gita (C2.V3) highlighted Lord Krishna's advice to Arjuna:
klaibyam ma sma gamah partha
naitat tvayy upapadyate
ksudram hrdaya-daurbalyam
tyaktvottistha parantapa
Lord Krishna (symbolic of the Great White Spirit) reminded how one should not succumb to challenges for this is not the nature of Man. Just like how the Bhagavad Gita was set in a 'war-like' scene, human beings face war every single day too. The greatest war that man will ever need to fight is the war within oneself. Succumbing to circumstances is unworthy of Man. Just as illustrated in the above (the Sanskrit verse in the Gita), Man is a warrior who must rise up against the inner weakness of the heart and take his rightful place as He for there is only one Atma that pervades the entire universe and Man is made in the image of God.
