If It Is Malaysia You Want, Act Like One!
Malaysia is no longer famous for its slogan, Malaysia, truly Asia. Our country is no longer famous for its wide range of delicacies or multicultural society. When I was in Dubai, someone asked if I was Malaysian. When I replied affirmatively, he did not mention about the Malaysian food or praise our multicultural society.
Instead, he highlighted the riots and political unrest in Malaysia. What has become of our nation? With all these racial fights, when will we actually be moving forward? Making racist comments towards each other because of the difference in one's political preference is not MALAYSIA at all!
The results are out. What is done is done. If one has a problem with it, find a solution. Posting immature comments to induce or prolong an online racial 'war' is definitely not the solution to anyone's problem. If either party starts such a trend, why should the opposing people prolong it by cursing the other person in return? Doing so will only bring you down to that level.
If it is MALAYSIA that you want, act like one! Ganging up with others to condemn other people's racial posts by using harsh words and calling them names in return does not show that you truly grasp what the word MALAYSIA means. To those who so-called are fighting for Malaysia, if you bring yourself down to the level of those who make racist remarks, you too are no better a Malaysian than them!
Let us have a good night and move forward with a smile and focus on the light instead of the darkness.
