Money Has To Serve, Not To Rule

While money is important in today's world, are we not the only creatures who pay to live on earth? Man created money, then becomes enslaved by it. We pay rent, buy cars, buy houses, buy groceries... Yet, do other beings do the same? What an atrocity!
Since Man has created such a system whereby money is required to 'trade' goods and services, just like what Pope Francis has said, it has to serve, not to rule.
It is just another medium of trade. Why would Man let his very own creation control his every decision in life? Is it not a folly to be ruled by mere paper? What is even more ridiculous is that these days, money is no longer confined in paper form. Money could also mean just mere digital numbers appearing on a computer screen. Where is the money? Money is nowhere but in the mind! Money was created to regulate the flow of how trading takes place in this world today.
Did you sacrifice your dreams and fill your pockets with these papers at the expense of others? Was it really worth it? Have a mindful week ahead and ponder upon your worth VS the worth of 'paper' in your wallet today.
