Almost There...
After hours and hours of cleaning and painting, the inside of the house still looks as though a tornado just swept through it. Moving house is not exactly one of my favourite things. I have moved many times in such a short span of this lifetime, and I expect more to come in the future. Thank goodness I am only moving a short distance away this time as compared to the headache I had to endure when I moved from (in the past):
- Malaysia to Brunei,
- Brunei to Malaysia,
- Malaysia to the United Kingdom,
- United Kingdom to India,
- India back to Brunei,
- Brunei back to India,
- India to Malaysia,
- Malaysia to Dubai, and
- Dubai back to Malaysia...
When we go to a new place, we always carry old baggage with us. This is perhaps the most frustrating part in the whole idea of moving. If only Man could learn from the other creatures of not carrying any baggage and just adapt to their new environment, wherever that is. Not only do we carry physical baggage wherever we migrate to, we love to carry emotional baggages accumulated over the many years too for some unknown reasons.
Juggling so many things at one go somehow make me feel clownish. I am beginning to wonder if I have always been a clown, or did I just recently morph into one? I literally perform schedule acrobatics every single day as I transport boxes from one residence to another, clean the house, instruct Yoga at the academy, choreograph dances, teach languages and music, writing and editing articles for the online magazine, and racing with the bookwriting project.
When I dropped by Hong Kong guest at the airport, I experienced a sudden aha-moment. This is not unusual as I experience the light bulb mind lighting up quite often every now and then and I would of course, note the ideas down. These will just happen out of the blue. Ideas can suddenly drop into my head while I am cooking, in the shower, taking a walk at the park, driving the car or even talking to a friend. I know what another potential book for the project is. I will not divulge it until I really start working on it. At the moment, the book shall only be referenced as "UTICIY".
Until we meet again (digitally of course).
Love and light,
Genevieve
