Despicable "Despicable Me" Craze - Wasting Food
What is with the craze for the newest McDonald's minions that people have to bash others up, stand in EXTREMELY long queues, damage the store, fight and more importantly, wasting food!
There are people in some parts of the world going hungry every single day! There are people dying out of hunger! Yet, I see people, who have the money to sustain themselves behaving worse than kids, buy these Happy Meals that come with a free toy, left so much food on the table to waste. They come with big plastic bags and get all of their friends to buy the Happy Meal (limited to only 4 per customer), fill the plastic bag with the 'minions' and left all the food and drinks at the table! What for? So that they can re-sell the toy at a higher price?
During the course of it, these selfish people failed to think that there are people who would give anything just to taste the food that they have just wasted. A few trickle of these drinks left on the table would make many children in other poorer countries happy.
If these people are really that crazy for the toy because they want to re-sell it at a high price, no one can say anything against it. But at least, think of the moral issues here. Be kind and stop wasting food!
